Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: April 9, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of services provided by Fiftyone Group LLC (“51 Insights”), including the 51 Terminal platform, research publications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). This AUP supplements our Terms of Service and is incorporated by reference. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access.
1. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited when using our Services:
- (a) Automated Access. Using any automated means, including robots, crawlers, scrapers, spiders, browser extensions, or similar tools, to access, monitor, copy, or extract any portion of the Services or Platform Content. This includes the use of headless browsers, automated testing frameworks, or any technology that simulates human interaction.
- (b) Systematic Extraction. Systematically downloading, storing, caching, or compiling Platform Content in any external database, spreadsheet, data warehouse, or repository, whether manually or through automated means.
- (c) Competitive Use. Using the Services or Platform Content to develop, enhance, populate, or validate any product, service, database, or intelligence platform that competes with or substitutes for any aspect of the Services offered by 51 Insights.
- (d) Credential Sharing. Sharing login credentials, access tokens, API keys, or any other authentication mechanisms with unauthorized individuals or entities. Each account is licensed for use by a single authorized individual unless a multi-seat license has been explicitly agreed upon in writing.
- (e) Excessive Access. Accessing the Services at a volume, frequency, or pattern that indicates automated or systematic extraction rather than normal human use. 51 Insights reserves the right to define and enforce reasonable usage thresholds.
- (f) Reverse Engineering. Attempting to derive, replicate, reconstruct, or reverse-engineer the 51 Trust Score™ methodology, taxonomy logic, classification frameworks, scoring algorithms, or any other proprietary analytical processes underlying the Services.
- (g) Circumvention. Bypassing or attempting to bypass any technical measures, access controls, rate limits, paywalls, or security features implemented to restrict access to or protect Platform Content.
- (h) AI Training. Using Platform Content to train, fine-tune, validate, evaluate, or otherwise improve any machine learning model, artificial intelligence system, large language model, or automated decision-making system, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
- (i) Unauthorized Redistribution. Redistributing, reselling, sublicensing, publishing, or making available any Platform Content to any third party, including through reports, presentations, deliverables, data feeds, or any other medium, without the prior written consent of Fiftyone Group LLC.
2. Monitoring and Enforcement
51 Insights reserves the right to monitor use of the Services to ensure compliance with this AUP. We may employ technical measures including, but not limited to, access logging, usage pattern analysis, rate limiting, and automated detection of anomalous behavior.
If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated this AUP, we may take any or all of the following actions without prior notice: (a) issue a warning; (b) temporarily suspend your access; (c) permanently terminate your account without refund; (d) pursue legal remedies, including injunctive relief and damages; (e) report the violation to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
